The Vanderbilt hopeful aimed at repeating last years upset over the Bulldogs but Georgia had revenge in mind. Georgia defeats Vanderbilt 45-14.
A year ago, the Commodores went to Georgia and handed them an upset winning by one point for their home coming.
The Bulldogs looked for pay back Saturday as they relentlessly ran the ball all day. The Bulldogs rushed for 423 total yards on 54 carries, averaging 7.8 per carry. Georgia only added 126 yards through the air essentially using the run game all day.

The Commodores did mount a challenge as they managed to score 14 points in the game. If this game is used to predict the upcoming Vanderbilt-Tennessee game, the commodores looked better.
The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked 5th overall with a 6-0 record.
“That’s the mentality of this team,” Georgia coach Kirby Smart said. “It’s not really a scoreboard deal. It’s like we really just want to see if we can make the other team quit. And if you can try your best to make them quit and you start seeing the, I guess, the falling in, the pushing, the movement, you know that you’ve got them where you want them.”
Coach Smart’s team delivered the performance he was looking for but Vanderbilt gave them a lot to think about in the first half.

The dores are coming off the toughest four game schedule in college football finishing 1-3. While Head Coach Derek Mason has drastically improved the team, Vanderbilt has still not got over the hump.
The Vanderbilt Commodores will take on Ole Miss on October 14, at 2:30 pm.
However, all eyes will now be on the Tennessee game, the final game of the year.
