Nov.5, 2017-The Tennessee Titans come off their bye week defeating the Baltimore Ravens 23-20.
The Titans played conservatively in the weeks leading up to the bye still managing wins. With several players nursing injuries including Marcus Mariota and Corey Davis, the much needed bye week came just in time.
The Titans would face a good front seven facing the Ravens along with above average corners. The Titans managed the win yet again with modest offensive numbers.
Marcus Mariota looked solid as he turned in 218 yards, 2 TD’s on 28 attempts. The run came totaled 65 yards between Henry, Murray, and 1 play from adore’ Jackson.
The biggest improvement for the Titans is coming from the defense, especially in the take away department. Specifically Kevin Byard who has 5 interceptions in the last two games.

The Titans number one overall pick Corey Davis returned to the line up this week but is being worked in slowly. We have all been waiting for his impact on the offense but Titans Coach Mularkey is being cautious with is injury.
Davis was able to practice this week but after missing six weeks of action, he is being installed in the offense slowly.
With the defense showing big signs of improvement, if the offense were to come on, the Titans would be tough to beat.

Titans Offensive Rankings
12th Rushing with 872 Yards
20th Passing 1413 Yards
The Titans offensive woes are more situational than personnel based. The team clearly has the talent but all the pieces have not clicked together yet.
On paper, the Titans have the most improved Wide Receiving core in the league. The absence of Corey Davis has slowed the effectiveness of the chemistry but should come on soon.
Great team win today! Fans were awesome!

The Tennessee Titans take on the Bengals next week. While the game is always based on match ups, we can’t help but compare.
The Jaguars defeated the Bengals 23-7 this week. The Titans decimated Jacksonville in week 2, 37-16.
At some point, the Titans offense must have a coming out party and it could be this week against the Bengals.
