The Nashville Predators found themselves in Colorado’s situation last year being the last seed in the play offs. The Preds recognize this all to well as the Avalanche will look to bounce back quick at home with their playoff life on the line.
“You have to recognize [the situation they’re in] and be ready to play,” Predators Head Coach Peter Laviolette said. “The minute you start to feel good or think things are going your way, that’s usually when you get beat. Part of it is just recognizing it’s not that you can’t win and you can’t be successful, but you’ve got to understand where your opponents at, got to understand where we need to be at [tonight]. If we can recognize those things, then we can find success.”
